I miss Burgerville. Mainly because I'm in Ohio now, and they don't have those anywhere near here.

Also Whataburger. Closest ones are over 6 hours away.

Nothing comes to mind of places that aren't around anymore at all that I used to like.

Yeah burgerville has slid downward. But apparently In N Out is migrating north, which will be cool.
I had one In n Out burger a friend brought to me. It was good, but if the drive thru lines are as long as the one I see in Keizer, it ain't happenin.

For the money, Carl's Jr gets my vote.

The trick at in n out is to park your car and simply walk up. Last time I went, in west hollywood, the car line was couple hundred yards down the road. I waited about four minutes as a walk up.

I agree, Burgerville is living on its legacy. Their food quality has slid far downhill. Their service has slid. But their prices are astronomical for fast food.
Carl's now gets my fast food business.

I don't know what's going on with American burger meat, especially since covid, but it seems to be 50% filler. In-N-Out seems a little less affected.

I had a Five Guy's burger in Luxembourg that actually stayed in me. I get nervous when I travel over what I eat. But most US fast food has completely declined no matter how much sauce or "bacon" they slop on.

Drive up a&w with the little speakers and they bring you your food. Of course if they had those now in Portland you would have to endure that damn stinking smell of weed and rap music blasted for the whole neighborhood. So I guess coming back in a rural environment where there is more respect for others would be good. Wouldn't work on D lead commie shothole cities though. Probably get robbed to boot.

I don't think anyone has mentioned the old Jolly Rogers on 39th and Powell.
Truly wonderful fish and chips.🥰

Florence OR has one that still utilizes the menu on the poll and intercom ordering. Pluss inside seating.

There is one in Oakridge that recently opened back up. I don't know if they're having trouble getting help or what, but when we were there about a week ago, we had to go inside to order. Might have been a temporary thing. A few weeks before that, it was like old times. Love those cheese curds, but I'm sure they're not very healthy for me.
