The amount of people on here who seem to be so disrespectful. If you are selling something and someone wants to buy it. The best thing to do is tell them why you won't sell, and to have a good day. Not to have someone politely message you, and message and can't seem to find anyone who wants to take some money. If you are getting replies to stuff for sale, please don't ignore. I don't care if you are old school or new school. It is disrespectful to the max to ignore others.
No disrespect... but a couple things to consider here...

You've only been a member here for a handful of months. Many sellers and buyers don't want to be guinea pigs with newcomers.

In your short time here you've managed to accumulate a whopping 1 negative review. This will only exacerbate the above point.

Starting this thread will definitely not help your cause. In fact most here (even the respectful ones) will use this as a punchline for their homespun jokes.

Touting your mag ban exemption most likely won't do you any favors.

Being ignored can be frustrating. That said, this is mainly a group of hobbyists and not people who depend on sales for their livelihoods. They don't live on this forum and will likely take the easiest route to sell something.

Take it or leave it. Just one guys opinions.

What a strange post. I am still attempting to translate the OP, with little success; I don't know what he's trying to say.

I've only sold, or bought, a handful of firearms and accessories on this forum with not much feedback (although I did have awesome feedback on the old SGN forum) but then, I'm not really here to buy or sell stuff. Still never had a problem communicating with either a buyer or a seller on this forum.

I looked at the OP's posts on his WTB ads and absolutely cannot understand what his issues are. His one negative feedback was a bit telling...

The way I've read your wanted ad and your behavior leads me to believe you intend to be a cash buyer, without BGC and receiving mags which may or may not be legal to purchase in Washington. I don't know if you are exempt and I'm not interested in doing the research to find out if you are. I imagine others see things the same way.

Your very brief behavior on this site makes you look like an exhausting person to deal with. If you'd lighten up, you'd probably get more traction.

If you have an active sell future here, come back in a decade and give your opine. I'm wondering if it would change.

My experience has produced:
Wait for a no show enough times, or or put in plain English firm price and no trades or no ship, only to offered much less or wanted to trade or even belittled for not shipping, or be asked for more pictures and other info and when sent never even hear from them again, or the best one that's very frequent, Hey I'll take that! so you tell others its pending, E mail as to available times & or places to meet but never hear from then again even after e mailing them to ask if they are still around.
Once the emotional scabs fall off, don't be surprised if it leaves a few scars.

The bottom of any classified post it reads; the seller can ask for any thing he wants. ,
Which party was harassed enough to cause that waste of prime internet real estate embolden in red, the seller, not buyer.

I hear your frustrations from being a buyer, not saying there aren't crumbs in both camps, but from over a decade, I've found considerable more coming from the buyer side.
All the choices are on the buyers side, no need to get nasty about it, If they don't like something, they can move on, but the seller on the other hand, is stuck dealing with what ever comes his way, whether its deserved or not.
By weight, seller should be given a little more slack, whether its deserved or not.
I appreciate your offer.
However, I respectfully decline.

See how easy that was?

Might have something to do with your one and only feed back.
"This guy is annoying, he made dozens of ludicrous offers most of them not firearms related and just ended up wasting hours of time running in circles. He also wanted me to just let him take gun on the promise to transfer it later. No need to say, I'm no longer talking to him. After 10 years working in the gun industry guys like this are the most irritating to talk to."

Ouch! I probably wouldn't respond to someone with this as their only feedback either, even though I am pretty big on common courtesy's. Did you really ask the seller to commit a felony and not transfer the gun properly though an FFL? Geeze!

This whole thread says everything people need to know about the 2A community. If you haven't ever tried to be part of it, shows why a lot of people don't want to. Most people are arrogant and make up every story they want.

The bad review? He wanted a discount of 50 percent because he works in a shop. It was a WW2 pistol he said didn't need a FFL because it was so old. When I said no, he blocked me and wrote a fake review. I've bought a rifle on here from a very respectful member. So go along with the lies… seems like you guys want respect when I Don't Know You. Get your self served respect from somewhere else. I don't owe any of you anything besides money. IF I wanted. Oregon people mostly I see. Good to know.

As a reminder ....
As per NWFA rules....all firearm laws , regulations , restrictions , etc....must be followed when conducting a firearm transaction.
Even if you , like me and many others... disagree with them...or find them worthless.
Andy
Ask him. It was a fake review he wrote out because I told him no to the trade. It was a WW2 pistol that needed no transfer, thank you very much.

He offered no transfer since he worked in a gun shop and it was a WW2 pistol. He got butthurt I said no to the trade. He wanted 50 percent off of everything.

But I'm thinking; I don't appreciate your offer when it was made clearly to the contrary, so why are you insulting me with it, and wasting my time.
So instead of speaking my mind, I avoid them altogether.
See how simple that is>

Of course, if I had not stated firm price, no trades, I have, and do, respond politely, many times in the past, a more succinct; "No thanks".

NOW it's time for this......

For the record though, having very little knowledge of fire arms, or the large group of people that enjoy everything firearms, I've met, and associated with, some of the most friendly, honest sharing people in my life in the firearms community since I discovered this web site.

Same as well. Then you have those who don't leave reviews and then have the people believe One flakey FFL. Oh well. I don't mess around so I know I'm good on my side.
