NWS to investigate reported tornado in Battle Ground, Wash.

Callers to Clark County dispatch described a tornado touching down in Battle Ground, Washington, Thursday morning.

The National Weather Service did not immediately confirm that report, but said it was sending a team to assess the damage.

Battle Ground Public Schools said in a message on Facebook that some students were sheltering in place as a precaution, but all students were safe.

This happened several years ago too.

What's weird is I was just thinking this morning about a tornado here!

I lived in Kentucky and the storms out there scared the crap out of me!
Almost got caught in a parking lot in a tornado. Same storm that wrecked Joplin!
