Up for sale is a not very come upon rifle. I have a Remington Model 14 in .25 Rem. This rifle is said to be produced in the early to mid 1930's. This is no museum piece and it shows the normal wear of time but not abuse. It's missing a screw for the Lyman sight, it needs a new buttstock end, and a single forearm screw. The wood is dated and cracked but original, if it doesn't sell I'll be replacing what needs to be replaced. This rifle also comes with 50 rounds of 25-20 and I'm located in Grants Pass

Not meant to be a negative comment. Just a friendly FYI. The model 14 is a nice piece of Remington history. I've got a 25 that's very similar. The 25 Remington isn't compatible with the 25-20. It's a virtually obsolete cartridge that's closer to the 25-35 Winchester. Good luck with your sale. Your price is not unreasonable and your ammo has a solid value by itself.
