Hogdon's data for a 175 SMK using IMR 3031:

COL: 2.800"

Starting load: 38.0 grs @ 2427 fps & 42,000 PSI
Maximum load: 41.3 grs @ 2653 fps & 59,100 PSI

...with the usual start low and work up to find the node your rifle likes.

thanks geo went with 39.5 of imr 3031 over the 175 smk 2.800 col should be somewhere in mid 2500 fps
