WTS/WTT OR REM 700 280 Ackley Improved

This rifle was built by Montana gunsmith Chuck Kepper in Birney MT. Its a Remington 700 trued action with a 24" SS Hart barrel bedded in a black HS Precison stock. Has had less than 50 rounds down the tube. I bought this with a 6.5x284 built by the same gunsmith which shoots great. Don't know how this one shoots. Selling rifle WITHOUT the scope. $900 cash or $1000 on a trade. Looking for a 357, Python or King Cobra, I'll add the cash. Or possibly a 270 WSM, 7mm WSM, something like a Sako SS, Cooper etc, lightweight, not looking for anything heavy. Would add cash for the right gun. OR make me and offer on what ya got. Don't need any more AR's or semi's. Thanks.

According to the tag, the rifle was built 11/24/14, but I believe the trigger is an older rem 700. Its wider with serrations on the front side. Crisp and breaks at 2.5 lbs. I'm no sure of the twist, sorry.

Sure, its a little different gun. It's a tight neck, so you have to neck turn the brass. Barrel is 25" made by Bison, 700 trued action bedded in a rem 700 wood stock, decelerator pad. Leupold base and ring.
