My Brother brought me another one of these, so I refinished it as well....he has a third one he also wants me to work over

This one wasn't in too bad of shape, the stock needed some cleaning up. Then I polished and reblued most of the steel parts

OMG! When I was giving my 512 in '77, I was told it was obsolete and I had to live with what I had.

I have never seen one other than mine before.

Now, do I want to revert to pristine, or is my oversize scope mounts with electrician's tape and wonky bolt worth more in it's 'original to me' state?
