Recent COSSA Radio Ad

Just last week I heard a radio ad for COSSA in Bend and took offense to a part of the ad copy - the woman doing the voice over said 'Shooting on the National Forest brings a negative impact to it' - I took offense to this as I consider it was used as a 'sales pitch' for club membership. Several others I know felt the same way so I drafted a well worded letter to COSSA voicing my opinion. I have not heard back yet. My point was shooting on the NF has been a tradition (and way of life) for a lot of people and club membership is not practical for everyone. Opinions on my position are welcomed.

I wouldn't join a range that used an ad like that.
