I had the same issue with.223 on my 650 with Lee dies you will have to adjust it down past where it hits the shell plate. On mine I chucked the die in a drill and ran it on a diamond sharpening stone to shorten it up about 3-4 thousands it now sizes cases down perfectly without flexing the shell plate"
 
I had to screw in my RCBS 223 dies about 3/4 turn past the touching
point. Dillon 550. I understand it is called "cam over". I use the
RCBS Precision Mic to adjust the sizing die to what new factory
ammo measures. It measures how much you reduce the case
shoulder. It is necessary on my ARs with match chambers to bring
down the case shoulder. With the sized brass you should be able
to chamber the case, close the bolt and open the bolt easily without
the cas being stuck.:oops:
