I haven't flown in years

I still have a ton of kits and arfs engines radios covering Boxes and boxes of contest grade balsa sheeting sticks spruce spars hardware and the list goes on stuff I'll likely never use.
You dont wanna fly foam just for kicks? This might be too boring for you. Indoor vapor flying.

Very true!! I've had planes that I only crashed once, and planes that I got to crash several times! Only had one successful landing. This was back when it took skill to fly, or buddy boxes. This new tech takes the fun and excitement out of the sport.
Planes are so forgiving now. there are lots to choose that you dont have to break the bank. Fly and crash it as much as you want, fix the next day and learn from it. In 3 months youll see the big difference. That's how I learned back then.

I bought this Taranis XD9 Plus back in 2019. I havent even used it. I have probably 10 ESC, Controllers even LR (Long range) controllers, Telemetry. This is probably 10 times better than my old Spektrum. Its time for me to learn and use it....
I believe I have 4 or 5 Hacker German motors...

Are Hacker German motors the ones to have ?

everything I have are glow or gas I have a few electrics but don't know how to bind or any of that

If you plan to use electrics in the future. Hackers are excellent semi-pro motors.
I even have luck using one of these Turnigy and they are so cheap. Last time I bought a turnigy from Hobby King was nearly 10 years ago. so I'm not sure if anything changed. The only motors that seize on me where always the stock ones on ARF (almost ready to fly). I bought a Bind And Fly (BNF) before, I always end up replacing the motors, ESC and control module.

Because I was using a Spektrum DX6i old version (6 channel) radio 2.4ghz DSMX. The receiver selection are endless and so cheap. I cant believe I had receivers that only cost $15, that binds in seconds, can fly long range and so reliable. I had gliders about this size that I can almost see like a dot and still flying.
I never tried using flaps before....

These Lemons are excellent receivers and it binds so easy with Spektrum.

I "was" a member of Evergreen Aero Modelers. Right in Spruce Goose. But last time I flew was in 2018. I dont know if they are still there or they moved.
There should be a lot of clubs close to you too.

Honestly when I fly again, I'm looking for place that will click to what I'm looking for. It doesn't have to be fancy. I'm looking for something or a place that will really inspire me again.

F.W.I.W, I run a lot of those Turnigy motors, they are cheap, yet good quality, most manufactures are buying the same motors and rebranding them to whatever.
If your serious, Castle Creations is THE motor and Controllers you want to run, not cheap, but they are insanely powerful, reliable, and rebuildable!

For transmitters, I have been running the Flysky systems for around 12 years now, super reliable, excellent signal strength and connectivity. They are high end radios at a bottom of the price point, they seriously push the others to do better or sell cheaper, or loose out sales! My latest 14 channel was around $160 and the expanded receiver was $85, then swapping all digital, metal gear, coreless servos were around $25 each! I run Savox servos exclusively now, they are bomb proof, reliable , powerful, and super quick, they are also inexpensive for what your getting, so it's an easy deal.
