Join the #1 community for gun owners of the Northwest
We believe the 2nd Amendment is best defended through grass-roots organization, education, and advocacy centered around individual gun owners. It is our mission to encourage, organize, and support these efforts throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.
I was told that a person cannot receive payment for working on firearms without a FFL.
It may be seen as receiving payment for working on the firearm as I will be getting money for the part.
Better to be safe than sorry. I am also still technically a Washington resident, "legally" I cannot touch someone else's firearm with the law passed last year, I still have no totally familiarized myself with Oregon's new law. Again just being safe than sorry.
Just trying to err on the side of caution. Never know who is what and what is who. I know you, myself and everyone else on this board would hate to loose their right to own firearms for a silly mistake
