Negative, 22 WRF is the parent case to the 22 mag...22 WRF > 22 Mag = .228 bullet in a .224 barrel. Hmm. 22 WRF maxes at 19000 PSI, the 22 Mag at 24000. Oil and water here. Sounds like trouble brewing.
But, the increased pressure of the mag in a WRF chamber makes it essentially a WRF +P+ inside of old, soft steel. No thanks. I'll watch the YouTube vids, but not pull the trigger. Because its case is slightly larger in diameter than a .22 LR case, the WRF will not go into LR chambers. Like the .22 Magnum, the WRF uses standard .224" bullets (like most centerfire .22's), not .220" bullets like the Long Rifle.
