HB 4147 is up for Public hearing and possible work session on Thursday February 4, 2016.
Hearing Room 343 2:00 p.m.
SB 1551 is up for a Public hearing AND work session on Wednesday February 3, 2016

I received a few replies from the emails I sent out to every member of the Oregon Legislature, all but one have been strongly opposed to these bills. Unfortunately, they are from the usual suspects. One notable exception was ValHoyle promising to look carefully at any new legislation to insure our civil liberties were protected. Her concern was so touching and genuine that I only vomited a little when reading her email.
It would be great if we could get some decent numbers there to testify but I'm not sure it would make much of an impression after how easily we were ignored during the hearings for SB941.
