I'm not at all surprised to see Chrome and Edge failing miserably. Brave and Tor performed as I expected with one exception: Brave did very poorly against fingerprinting. Fingerprinting resistance is built into Brave, but not enabled by default. If it was enabled for these tests, that's a big disappointment.

Edit: I may have found a clue. Under HTTPS tests ("Which browsers use encrypted network connections whenever possible?"), they show Brave as failing the Insecure Website test. HTTPS Only mode is off by default in Brave. I have verified that it blocks insecure sites (sites that do not support https) when this setting is enabled. So it may well be that the browsers are tested with default settings.
