A semi-interesting anecdote. Had a consult at a certain Seattle hospital. At the main entrance, there was a security officer and a metal scanner, as well as the usual signage. Hmm. Well, they often have lock boxes in the security office, so I walked through with my sub-com poly 9.
Silence.
He directed me to the next building over where they had NO SCANNER to enter. Looking up, I noticed the skybridge which would allow me to cross back over to the "gun-free" zone unchecked.
It's a political statement and nothing more.

Don't you just love how that particular facility proudly displays BLM banners on said sky bridge.

I've taken my wife there 3 times now. Never once had an issue with all the steel i carry on my person.
