All this does is open the flood gates for more crimes, knowing there is no punishment, unless your one of the Innocents who god forbid chose to not lay down and defended themselves! That DA needs to be wearing irons and having buttsex with bubba every morning for the rest of his days!

Wondering if the riots will calm down now or increase?
Most definitely increase! In fact, I suspect things will get FAR FAR worse, Antifa/BLM will now feel emboldened ( now that they have a "Win") to go even further with their shenanigan's knowing there is now no police there to stop them, move them around, or block them from doing what ever they want! I expect to see the violence escalate to the point where several folks get killed, and nobody, including tear gas teddy does anything to stop this madness!

Even worse, if you or I were to try and defend ourselves, the DA in Multico would throw the entire book at us for not being good victims, how dare we defend ourselves!

Potlands Leadership need to be hung by the neck till dead, they need to be held accountable for all this, and make no mistake, they all have blood on their hands already! By extension, our states leadership is also directly responsable for all of this, Gov'ness brownstain hasn't lifted a finger to stop any of this, hell, she cannot even get her rona-gate story strait, and We the People all suffer under her reign!!!

I'd like to see what happens, but thinking that even if violence increases, the residents in the City of Pdx will still vote left; and not elect a law and order mayor nor city council. Just thinking that as a group they are a very weak group of people, and would victimize themselves, rather than vote right to correct the violence. Did hear something on the radio today that the growth of cities like Pdx may be with an increased of homeless camps.

Wow the Portland police association came out with a strong statement and specifically called out Hardesty. They r right on the $ imo.

There's no one that runs in these elections that's' any different! For the most part the others that run are WORSE!! We voted for Ted *sh,,sh,,shuuuudder* Wheeler because that uber crazy, "antifa" Ianarone was the only other one that had a chance. WTH we supposed to do?

Stan Pulliam is going to make a run for Governor of Oregon. I feel we really need to get behind him.

Cities like this are going to end up with Federal Police. It will be fun to watch as it happens as the Federal Cops will not be beholden to the locals. When they start mopping up they will not care what the law makers say.

This is once again the "useful idiots" being used. Its far from just county Cops they want gone. Chi town is begging for help and they will also get it. When you watch their mayor talk she looks like she is on the edge of a breakdown. When places like this get Federal Police the local law makers will lose power. They will of course be screaming then but, they will have gotten what they asked for. The voters there will also be screaming and again, they got what they asked for. Cops not accountable. They will crack down and the people being cracked down on will suddenly find they have no one to complain too. :s0092:
Also when the cops start cracking heads you can say it's not your fault, you have no control over them.

Oh you bet they will BUT, depending on who is in the top spot they have to be careful. If the top person is GOP the people like this loser who calls herself Mayor will run to every camera they can find to scream. If its someone from their party? They will hide under their desk and pretend its not happening. Press will help them as much as possible. Look at the way the press handles all the daily shooting in Chi-Town. They act like it never happens. So the voters there who live it? They can enjoy it. They begged for it so they can enjoy it. :s0092:

Anyhow the voters that elected these officials and the business community that supported the local mayor and city council have to take responsibility for the political and community outcomes...

When you want to see "what is wrong" all you have to do is watch local news. When people scream and complain about scum camps, then say they do not want the scum herded out. They feel sorry for them. They do not like to see crime punished so they get to live with crime. It really is a mental disorder. Until the people who vote decide they have had enough they will get more of it. Who knows if they ever will decide they have had enough. Seattle, Potland, and a few others seem to be in a race with places like San Fran. See who can become the biggest sewer faster. Sadly some are stuck there who do vote against it but so far they are the minority.

It's people looking for an answer to a problem they don't like the answer too, because that would be admitting it failed! It's people who let their feels get in the way of rational actions, we just need to try kinda deal, again, admitting they failed when nothing works! The solutions abound, but a gentle society cannot accept those actions, again, letting feels rule their beliefs! What would be better for everyone would to be to remove all pretence of choice about things, and to act!

YEP! Look at this great hoax. 15 days to flatten the curve. How long has it been? Even 6 months in many got OVER the top angry when I said they were being scammed. Now its been over a year and a lot of them still just can not bring themselves to admit they were scammed, so they get over the top angry when its pointed out.
People vote for the mess their city is in, then with a strait face tell you its the fault of people who have no control there, as they vote for the same incompetent and corrupt people who made the mess. Saying they are going to "fix it". Its often amazing to watch. :s0054:

A triumph of feelings over mental effort and logic.

One of my employees years ago: "I got a parking ticket!"
Me: "Were you parked at a meter?"
"Yes, but they never ticket the meters."
"Well apparently they do now. It still sucks, but -"
"But it's not faaaair."
"Well you didn't put money in the meter."
"It's too expensive."
"That's why I park in the lot."
"But that's all the way in the back."
"But you don't get tickets there."
"But it's not faaaair."

Thanks, for confirming my belief! :)

I don't know why the news keeps reporting on this stuff? It's all the same isn't it? bubblegum broken/burned, tipped over and broken/burned. 1-3 arrested. Always after dark. Most likely no charges to those arrested. Why do they bother? And do people STILL, AFTER OVER A YEAR, WATCH THIS GARBAGE??? I don't. The headline is enough for me.

Reading that poem(?) gave me an urge to wretch.

I just scanned through the vid and didn't notice any boarded up windows or graffiti laden public/private property. No disclaimer that the people in the vid weren't real potlandians, but were actors. Maybe they were there and I just missed them.

This is an insight into the mentality of the "movers and shakers" of Portland. If you had been observing the meetings of the Portland City Club for the last 50 years, you would not find this ad campaign surprising. They have been priding themselves about being "special" (meaning "woke" before that term was coined) for at least that long.

Because of this long tradition, do not expect Portland to wake up and turn back to reality and functionality. Those with the resources (money) to spend on politics are isolated from the real disruption. Many don't have to work, and if they do, they live in the West Hills and if they work downtown, they commute by car and park in the private lots under their high-rise office buildings. They don't have to dodge the poop on the streets or deal with the street people. They dabble with Socialism, knowing that the politicians they funded will bluster about taxing them, but will make exceptions for them in the legislation, while bleeding the less fortunate working people to fund the Socialist Utopia. And they attend the Portland City Club lunches where they reinforce their illusion of Progressive Utopia in "The City That Works."
