Mornin', All - we are planning on going to the show toward the end of May, and will be looking for a higher-end Trapdoor Springfield to get sent over to the UK.
Anybody know who's going to be there who might have something to choose from?
As many of you are prolly aware, over here in UK even a genuine Trapdoor has the same status in the law as a Chey-tac or Barrett, so it will have to be an an FFL to RFD deal, as required by UK law.
When I used to shoot my original Peter Gonter flintlock trade rifle [made and dated 1798] - even THAT was classed as a Section 1 Firearm, just like all my modern centre-fires....sigh................................
