Moot point here in Oregon as all sales at a gun show or Originating at a gun show or on gun show property (the parking lot at the expo etc.) must go through a background check.

Presently, 18 states regulate private firearm sales at gun shows. Seven states require background checks on all gun sales at gun shows (California, Colorado (§12-26.1-101 and § 24-33.5-424, CRS), Rhode Island, Connecticut, Oregon, New York, and Illinois). Four states (Hawaii, Maryland, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania) require background checks on all handguns, but not long guns, purchasers at gun shows. Seven states require individuals to obtain a permit to purchase handguns that involves a background check (Massachusetts, Michigan, North Carolina, Iowa, Nebraska, Minnesota). Certain counties in Florida require background checks on all private sales of handguns at gun shows. The remaining 33 states do not restrict private, intrastate sales of firearms at gun shows in any manner.

Additionally there are already laws against providing any felon or non elegible person with a firearm, so the law they are trying to pass is redundant and only serves to set up a closet registration with the future intent of attempted confiscation. That simply cannot be allowed to happen.
Fight and fight hard now to avoid a bloody fight in the end.
I can't say it much clearer than that.

Huh? Your huffingtonpost link don't work. It goes to the website, but for some reason the direct link (from this website) don't work.

Here's a tinyurl that seems to fix that link to the article and the huffington poll. ;)
