Frankly, I have no issues with that! A survival skill in a world that's going down the toilet fast. :s0155:

Excellent! The empire expansion plans of Putin will continue so they need to be prepared. Whether the expansion becomes a hot war for other neighboring countries who knows. Probably depends a lot on who Putin appoints as his successor once he becomes to Ill too rule.

The irony of these people suddenly embracing guns in the face of a looming threat does not escape me. Better late than never I guess.

I would love to be a part of or teach a ....
Non political firearm safety course in my school.
Subjects would be...
Firearm safety...
Basic Firearms ID...
Basic Ballistics...
Andy
A few years ago we tried to pass a bill to teach gun safety in public schools and the Democrat majority overwhelmingly voted it down. One of the reasons I heard was that it promoted gun culture.

@Koda
Liked for the attempt at getting a firearm safety class in school.

Not too keen on terms like "gun culture"...since that can mean many different things to many different people.

Sad that a simple safety class is not allowed.

I thought not too long ago in this country it was pretty much mandatory for everyone in the family to be able to shoot? Everything old becomes new again...let's hope we can get it together here soon before it's too late and the woke mind virus infects every child.

Still baffles me we live in an age where Russia is still a threat. Imagine if Germany tried to "rise" again.
Germany rose again after WWI because it had been humiliated, driven to bankruptcy and backed into a corner, its lands stripped away and blamed for everything that happened in WWI. After WWII the victors of the war took a different approach towards Germany and it worked out.

When the Cold War ended, we decidedly did not learn from our post WWI experience.

So, what should the US and allies done after the cold war ended?

Set up a buffer. Not necessarily a DMZ but not pushed NATO up Russia's bubblegum as fast as possible no matter how much bordering neighghbor states wanted it. More time and effort in engagement less in sanctioning. When you have nothing to lose it's quite freeing.

You can argue otherwise but then you get what we have now. And if you think that's great good good for you.
