With the new update, I disabled filter auto reload for mobile devices, requiring members click the filter button once their filters were selected. Per this request and further investigation, I've gone ahead and re-enabled filter auto reload for all devices as of now.
If members would like an option to control this behavior in the future I'll consider adding a user option
