the west end gravel pit and hillside are in use and being developed. Any other places to legally shoot at in or around the dalles area? I'm told there's a spot in dallesport but don't know where.

There's the Mt Adams Fish And Game Association in White Salmon. A little far, but it's the only indoor/outdoor facility in the Gorge.

I'm not from the area, but visited a few weeks ago. I was driving around Columbia Hills State Park, and heard shooting! I was all excited to see this pit/range, but when I turned the corner...it was a winery. The banging was the automated propane cannon used to frighten birds.

My brother mentioned that he read about a big range out in Dallesport. I haven't really been able to find any info on it besides the newspaper articles when it was first being built in 2015. Does anyone have more recent intel on it?

I drove past the range in Dallesport recently and there was still a no trespassing sign. It's still works in progress.
