I would imagine a $35 24x optic would have some pretty abysmal quality glass making gnat hunting a challenge.

I'm not going to say "I'd go with the Holosun" because that will never happen but in your case that's what you should do.

I took the Holosun to the range today, and I absolutely love it. The scope on the other hand took me 20+ seconds just to FIND the target LOL

I'd use something else, but if you have nothing else, I'd not use that monster of a scope.
