Oregonian wants a Washington CCW permit

I was up there for my nephew - he happens to reside up there for now. It was the one positive thing yesterday. And no I was not carrying or will carry until I get that permit up there.


I actually try to do things right - most of the time.

So I just looked because it was asked.

I applied as a non-resident 3/28/12, in person. My permit is dated 5/28/12. According to the interwebs date calculator this was 61 days.

My Washington nonresident permit took exactly 60 calendar days too.

At one time Washington was slightly easier for a non-resident than a resident. When I got mine as a resident I had to go back and pick it up in person, but my girlfriend got hers as a non-resident and they mailed it to her. Not sure if it is still that way or not.

Can't speak for other locales but in Lacey they mail them.
