Just checking in to see if anyone got the tags they were after for the upcoming season?? We got our elk tags, but otherwise pretty slow year.

My party for the buck tags we wanted and my best friend just got back from scouting on Monday. Now I just have to see if I can get the time off work. Keeping my fingers crossed.

This is my first year for deer as well.

I found out that you get 1 dear tag in WA and then have to lotto for other tags. I thought I was sol until I called F&W and they told me that my first ticket was my deer tag.

Now I just have to find one...

Thats great, extra time to learn the area and scout. We did that one year, saw tons of Elk during deer season and tons of deer during elk lol.

I've been trying to get the same elk tag for years.... now I have the points ODFW dropped the hunt! That Pisses me off so bad!

They did the same thing to me when they canceled the High Desert elk tag.

Funny this thread just gets bumped. ... I had a friend pick up my antelope tag just minutes ago. 44 dollars! That's nuts.... Hell that's 10 dollars a pound for the meat before I leave the house.

I'm getting so sick of the modern day organized crime we call government.

This is my first year hunting and I don't even want to think about how much I've invested.

Needless to say, I will have to successfully bring home some game for a couple years before I get anywhere near breaking even lol.

Drives me crazy when I see a big mulie (in the rut) wandering around in broad daylight during the later bull elk season.

Got my Deer and Elk for the same unit but I get them every year knock on wood been hunting it for 30 years Hope to get the big bull I choked on last year good luck to all be safe and enjoy
