I think everyone should ignore everything that is unconstitutional. But that's just me.
Start with not paying taxes then... let's just agree that we all agree. Save the chest thumping for when they are at your doorstep with a warrant. Do you pay your registration for your vehicles? Why don't we start with checking all the boxes like our forefathers did. Show up at the capital, testify, donate to the attorneys who have fought this successfully for the last 2.5 years, etc.

The appeal to the Oregon supreme court is being filed at this time. Based on the wording of the appeals court decision, absent a stay by the Oregon supreme court, M114 will go into effect on or about April 16th. This is the end of the 35 day period granted by the appeals court.

IF it goes into effect at that date, the magazine restriction is the only thing immediately affected. The permit to purchase cannot go into place until and unless a permit system is ready to go. That was the decision of the federal judge in December of 2022.

House Bill 3075 will replace M114 and should become law sometime in the next few months.

There are numerous posts and threads on this forum explaining the very thing I just typed out. Just about every industry advocacy group in Oregon has the same information and is begging gun owners and FFLs to actually take action and submit testimony against the new anti-gun bills.
This is directly from our attorney who's appealing to the Oregon Supreme Court. If you jump on the Oregon firearms advocates group on Facebook, everything is outlined on there as it happens. We also have a large group that is going to the capital each time there is a heating and testifying.

It's funny how "gun control" legislation tears the 2A community apart even more. Internally. We eat our own and wonder why we loose….

It works in two ways. Cripples those who want to follow the law (the majority of gun owners) as well as incite conflict, arguing, name calling, and division inside the community.

We do it to ourselves.

Slowly getting closer to insertion time so everyone better buy the gun they want or the magazines they need. Otherwise in a few days you'll have to get a permit take extra testing and a bunch of shenanigans. Even with hunter safety and etc under your belt.

No, not on a few days

Permits are not going into effect in a few days. Magazine restrictions COULD possibly start in a few days.

Oregon House Bill (HB-3075) seems to be on a fast track though the Democratic Super-Majority Legislature.

This Bill takes everything in Measure 114 effectively passing it into law which will make the current legal appeals by Second Amendment advocates a mute point.

I listened to an interview today on Lars Larsen's show and it did not paint an optimistic picture for Oregon gun owners.

According to the interview HB-3075 seems sure to pass and Kotex to sure to sign it into law.

I'm sure we will hear more about it in the coming days,....

If HB-3075 passes the Legislature and is signed into law we won't be hearing anything more about Measure 114.

And the couple of million dollars Second Amendment advocates have spent fighting 114 will be lost because the new law, (If and when HB-3075 is signed by Kotek.) circumvents 114 altogether.

29 of Oregon's 36 counties voted aganist measure 114. (Roughly 70% to 75% of Oregon's land mass.)

Quite a cynical demonstration from Oregon Democrats who prove, by their actions, that not only do they believe in selective application of our Constitution but they do not believe in political pluralism in Oregon politics either.
