It's not everyone's cup of tea because it strays from the aesthetics of the traditional S&W N-Frame, but it launches .357's just like the others. The ability to add a red dot and light enhance it's utility.

Finding holsters is the biggest crutch. It's not a high production gun, so you will probably have to custom bend your own or find aa shop who will.

It's a great revolver. I don't currently own any revolvers but if I were buying one, it would up at the top of the list. If I didn't want to spend the money, I'd probably be looking at a 686 if they're cheaper (not up on current revolver prices).

My favorite S&W - although I like my 325TR about the same

Very versatile. Light but not too light and well balanced.

I like the ability to have a light/laser and optic should I wish, and the 8 rounds capacity is nice.

I wish S&W would make more revolvers like the 325/327/329 in more calibers. I would like to see 9mm, 10mm and .45 LC.
