Lunch at Red Robin would run each member roughly $12. Maybe 20-40 people would see and maybe interact with the group at best.
If NWFA was to make a bumper sticker that read "OREGON OPEN CARRY" United, Free and armed and Northwest Firearms.com on the sticker. Anyone could purchase this sticker from the forum. Place it on one or several vehicles and 20 people a day for the life of the vehicle or sticker would likely reach lots more people in a simple less aggressive way.
Its just a start, the forum owner could surely word it to best suit Oregon Open Carry and NWFA while representing its members with something worthy of sticking onto a vehicle respectfully.

My intent is not to bust up a current get together of forum members. But I would like to represent the forum and open carry in a similar setting. Seems to work for radio stations and other dot coms.

What goes for a wa. resident with a conceled carry lic.? my guess is an unloaded weapon. am i right? I need to get an or.lic someday

Portland has a ban on "loaded carry" for non CHL holders.
No magazine, no round in chamber or in the magazine. All separated.

I will never place a firearm related sticker on my vehicle. It screams follow me and break into my house when I'm not home.
Also, police are definitely not fond of them. Feel free to take pride in your stickers or snap at me, but take my word for this one. It's the truth, especially the opinion from police officers.

Besides, they're tasteless. It's like the old Hillary Clinton and Ron Paul stickers still on Subarus and pick ups. We can all already tell by the car they drive. "NOT MY PRESIDENT!" ...they're clinging to a defeat.

Very good point that I did not consider. I agree, I do judge people based on the literature on their vehicles.

There's been a lot of excellent discussion in this thread, and it's brought to my attention the fact that we need to think a few things through before doing this. As of now, I'm going to call this off while we discuss it further :s0155:
