You suck, I only got to ride twice, now i gotta get new forks. It was awesome, guys. He hit the jump wide open in 4th gear like he does on his 250. He nust of went 30 feet in the air, and over jumped the big double jump by 30 feet! I'm surprised that"s all he broke! This guy keeps forgetting he"s an old man, and he doesn"t heal like he used to.
seth enslow'ed it, eh?

I'd link the video but I not 'puter literate.

I hear collar bones hurt like a mofo, heal quickly @808hondacrguy !

Krazy Kids? this guy is 60 years old, he just doesn't act like it, or maybe doesn't believe it. LOL

Serious? Man, makes everything on ME hurt just thinking about it! Problem is, as you get older things don't heal as quickly as when you're younger.

For reasons in this thread I'm not allowed to own things with two wheels. I tend to try to kill myself on them.

I stepped back from 2-wheels, and sold everything when I found out I would soon be a father.
Soon after the boy, a girl.
When they become of age they got quads. As they grew, eventually we were all on four wheels in the sand. Good times.
No matter how many wheels are under it, there's never a dull moment when riding around others on alcohol and/or dope to get in your way good or bad. Closed and organized events, different type mentality all together.

Course, then there's that thing called a dare, or who can dominate the terrain!! LOLOL

Those big bore thumpers will get ya when ya least expect it.
My favorites were from the 70's. Honda XR500, and Yamaha TT500.
I never found myself anxious to tame the XR500, after it launched me over the bars for not using the compression release.
Not to mention if I didn't get slung over the bars, it like to break my foot.

The TT500's, they're possessed by the beast. They come alive with a smack-down in a hurry. Jumping them, hang on. They flat launch.

Ya, I bet that wipe-out hurt just a tad.
Heal up.
Well, the 450 race bike is about 2x more powerful than the xr500. The only bike that bears a modern day 450 is a the Cr or kx 500.
I love my beta 300 two stroke myself

Whatever the technology or decade of engineering, gravity & ballistic flesh equations remain comparable.

My own m/c career began with the opportunity to 'watch' my brother's buddy's then new Matchless 600 single. Yes, it you want to talk 'thumper' that was a prime example. And the mysteries of something called 'the compression release' had to be learned the hard way.

That was in the glories of Spring 1963. Peanut tank. Reverse chrome megaphone. Almost-workable brakes. Ah yes, I controlled the very pulse of the valley for a few days, oddly enough without any catastrophe even given ample teen exuberance and ample testosterone.

The Final Humiliation came when trying to move that cast iron slug off the walkway up to the steps. Trouble with the center stand, straddling the Beast, unable to balance and CRUNCH....badly sprained ankle & the engine wasn't even running.

Hopefully I'm done w/all that. I'm at 23 broken bones, all from dirt riding except 2 from football, which resulted in 3 plates, 21 screws, 3 pins and a rod inside my left femur. The femur fracture was the worse, it also included the hip, pelvis and talus in left foot and radius in left wrist. Wrists 5 times combined. A broken toe, finger, rib or a severe sprain isn't even a thing. Never did break a collar bone but a friend broke one of his scapula's in 1/2, that was a plate and 11 screws. I've ridden out of the woods broken, absolute unfun. It's better when they come get you :)

The broken hip crash was at 47, @ 52 I shattered the metacarpal in my left thumb. I still ride but haven't gone off the property in a few years. I get senior discounts now and have come up with other ways to injure myself though not as seriously :p

dang, I really shouldn't have said that.......
I must live a "charmed life" so far, as I haven't broken a bone in the 55 years I've been on this planet.

Thank you for the update. I was wondering what happened to the bike. Glad nobody was paralyzed or killed. :)
