Old barnes bullets

I traded a nice guy today for a 404 BJ Express - a very nice rifle. It came with some old Barnes bullets I am unfamiliar with. I did not find much online pertaining to them, anyone know anything about these bullets and a time frame. Are these bullets any good for hunting still?

According to Barnes bullets they could only tell me they were made in the 40s and that the bullets were made out of 3/32 copper pipping. The bullets are as good today as when they were made.
