So I was putting up this little display in my entertainment center at the house. My parents bought the vintage stock refinishing kit at a swap meet for a dollar. It appears to be all there, but whatever was in the bottles has evaporated out and what's left is just goo.
Anyway, I was noticing the price on the ammo box, $5.03 for 20 rounds of 180 grain .30-06!! The stock refinishing kit is marked $1.49. Both of the boxes have price tags on them from "G.I. Store" so I am thinking they are from what was GI Joe's.
Anyway, both boxes are now livening up our living room. Wife thinks it looks good, so it's staying.
