This really sucks. Officer Steven Dodds is a respected and well-liked member of the Lincoln City Police Department. Our prayers go to him and his family. Reports say he was shot several times by the suspect during a traffic stop last night. Suspect made it south to Waldport area before a spike strip forced him to abandon his vehicle; manhunt is ongoing. There have sure been a rash of recent officer shootings in Oregon and Washington.

This guy's a real nut case. Shoots a cop, shoots at a women in her car, shoots at a crabber working on his pots. :nuts: Hope they catch him soon, and sure hope the cop makes it..

we too have officer Dodds and his family are in our prayers.we hope they can find this guy quickly,there is a lot of spooked families here.the level of violence as of late
is sickening.i just don't understand it
