i have never done any black powder shooting and would like to. im thinking of selling the blackpowder revolver i have because i cant find caps. the manual says number 11 remington percussion caps are preferred. ive looked everywhere and cant find any. the manual says i should us 4fg powder and i havent begun to look. i have 200 bullets but no powder or caps. id like to buy some so i can shoot the bullets i have. thank you.

4F is for flintlock priming only....not for use in loading down the bore of a firearm.
3F works fine in these revolvers...and 2F will work as well. ( 3F will be better )

Also....you can buy different size nipples , so you can use different size caps.....
