Never keep a round in the chamber in the SKS, the safety is for the trigger only, not the hammer!!
A poor sear angle and/or good jolt of the gun causes accidental firing.
do a search for positive /negative sear engagement & then check your sear's operation.
ultimately you want your hammer to fall backwards for a micro second before falling forward, this is the safest sear engagement on these weapons & easy to rectify
