I can switch receivers and bolt carrier groups to make it right handed if preferred
I had this upper since it was new and i personally put 390 rds through it .
This was built just before Stag came out with the CMMG piston Uppers this uses the PWS Piston system
This piston is a PWS piston system . It has a rod that attaches to the carrier so it could be used on a left handed bolt carrier group the rod goes down a tube coming from the gas block so it supported thus preventing the dreaded carrier tilt. It has a short piston in the block .The block was attached with allen screw pin holes in the barrel so block is not going to move and is as sturdy as a taper pin gas block .
The upper is a left handed Stag upper with 16" M4 5.56 (.223) 1/9 chrome lined barrel .
This is a very reliable upper I have never had any issues with it other than i once was playing around with a Spikes T2 buffer and it ran sluggish but otherwise runs like a champ like a piston upper is suppose to.
Comes with PRI big charging handle and a POF roller cam If you dont want either of these items you can subtract $20 off the price for each item
$765 as pictured left handed upper
or
$685 as a right handed upper
There is only 2 ugly spots and its really not ugly unless your picky and thats under the block and on the block where i had to pound it off to remove the MI rail i had on it. I can spray the spot under the block with a bake on finish and all you have to do it take it out and shoot the heck out of it bake it on. I just don't want to bake the whole upper or take it apart
I am looking for handgun in .40 cal or a compact in 9mm
