Report says March NICS checks set new record for the month

The Washington Free Beacon reported Monday that the FBI performed more than 2.5 million <broken link removed> during the month of March, setting a new record for that month, but still lagging behind the number of checks in either January or February.

A lot of these people ARE new gun owners. It's a myth that all of these gun sales are only to old white guys who already own a house full of guns.

That is good news. I only hope for all our sakes that these new gun owners will consider voting pro-gun in the elections this year. It's great to have a lot of new gun owners, but it does us little good if we're being crapped on time after time by anti-gun politicians.

Maybe every new gun and/or background check should come with a pamphlet: "How to vote Pro-Gun and keep Anti-gun Politicians away from your rights"
