Thanks for the tip on a cool looking store. I'll have to stop in and check them out next time I head down to Monmouth to visit my son at Western.

Your welcome.

Haven't been in a while, that 5.11 stuff is pretty durable.

Folks at that shop are pretty nice & knowledgeable though. Small family owned local business.

Got my Hanks Gunner Belt in the mail today. First impression: pretty good quality and seems to hold my Shield in place pretty well. We'll see how it fares tomorrow during my lunchtime 3.5-4 mi. walk. Also got my new CRKT Directive at the same time. Doesn't appear to bad for ~$26.

If you're willing to look at a ccw purposed leather belt, check out Bullhide CCW Gun Belts for Concealed and Open Carry by Beltman. They have some of the toughest "dress belts" I've ever seen. I've been wearing one for a couple years now for all occasions without any mishaps.

Plus 1 on the Beltman. I got an elephant hide belt from him 12 years ago. Works great, and it does not utter a hint of "gun belt".
Has maintained it's shape, and still looks great.
With the proper holster, an N frame S&W is no problem.
Best,
Gary
