I came across a mention of a "shoe gun" the other day and it got me wondering, does anyone here actually have experience with anything like that? I'm not talking movie props, more like those oddball, historical concealed-carry concepts that actually existed at some point. Was it ever a real, functioning design or just one of those Cold-War spy gadget myths? And if anyone's come across something similar in person, how practical or ridiculous was it in reality? Curious what the defensive-carry folks think, clever innovation or total gimmick?

How about a gun hidden in a prosthetic leg, does that count?

Creative. This, perhaps more so. 🤭

Reminds me of REM song "When you greet a stranger, look at his shoes / Keep your money in your shoes, put your trouble behind"

Except replace "money" with "revolver" :s0112:
