For that price point I would rather work in to a lower end Kahr.

I wonder how it will compare to the hammer fired and safety-free SIG P290. I personally will chose the SIG.
This is how the new Ruger stacks up against some current, popular 9mm carry pistols... (*and exhaustive data did follow*)
I second that! Totally love the Sigs.
DOES ANY BODY KNOW WHAT PRICE THE SIG 290 WILL BE OFFERED BY SOME OF THE LARGER GUN SHOPS IN PORTLAND. SINCE IT IS A NEW RELEASE, WOULD THE 290 FETCH A PREMIUM?

How nice of Kel-tec to do all of the research, design and development of their PF9----and then apparently not patent it, like with the P3AT, so that Ruger could again steal their design and run with it! Ah, well, "Imitation is the best form of flattery"...........................elsullo
Just not being a POS Kel-Tec would be enough for me to justify the price difference.
Yep, and if I was in the market for a gun that size I would pay extra for the Ruger vs the PF9. The fit and finish and hand feel matter to me and if it's anything like the P3AT vs the LCP there's no contest.
But it's a POS Ruger
I don't see what the big draw to a Ruger semi auto is.
Wheel guns? Yes
Any other Ruger? Na
Oh their 10/22 and the "mark" 22 pistols

I doubt the Sig is the competition the Ruger is targeting so to speak, price being equal I'd go for the Sig for resale value alone. Nothing against Ruger I have a LCP in my pocket right now.
That slot on the back is to put your small change in.
BAA-doomp-pahh-psssshhht!!Darn...I thought you were just happy to see me.
