The first one was so original and unique for the time of its release. The following two were interesting and action packed. Guns and Kung Fu galore.

Im hoping they pay tribute to the original three in this new one coming in December.

As long as Whoreywood* doesn't end-up turning it into, "The Woketrix" ....
....'cuz lately we seem to be living in that at present. :s0092:

*sayyy... isn't that how their CCP masters pronounce it? .... oddly apropos, isn't it ?

He kept the John Wick look. I'm a HUGE fan of Keanu but I wish they did something to change it up a bit.

Well they didn't recast the lead as a gay black woman, so that's a start. I probably won't go see it. I haven't been to the movies in years, have cancelled HBO, cable and Netflix mostly out of disgust, and am in general fed up with Hollywood. I read books now and post stupid opinions on gun boards.

Keanu hasn't shared his politics yet and I don't expect his movies to do so on his behalf. There may end up being some sprinkle of it from the Wachowski's but nothing so overt as the Ghostbusters remake, Captain Marvel, etc.

I'm torn on this one and very hopeful. Hollywood seems incapable of putting out new ideas right now; the OG Matrix was incredibly original and it's reboot/4th part aught to be just as fresh…If it turns out like The Force Awakens, it'll be incredibly disappointing.

Well, maybe…for everyone 30 and up and anyone 20-30 whose parents didn't suck, it'll be disappointing. For the rest of the population, they'll think this shadow of the past is something new and wonderful…at least until someone sets 'em straight.

I'm about as hopeful as a jaded optimist can be on this one.

^^^This is no exaggeration. There's already been a lot of great movie franchises sullied by political BS.

I said the same thing about the new Sopranos movie. They'll probably make Tony into an apologetic blubbering cuckold.

Stupid opinions are the best opinions.

I have not seen any of the matrix movies.

Ill go back under my rock now.
When they came out, they were something completely different. Great choreographed fighting scenes, gun scenes, and plenty of gratuitous Deagle close ups.

From the preview I saw, I'm thinking it's ether gonna be epic, or it's going to suck, so I don't really know, but I'm excited to see it one way or another! The preview looks kinda weird, like NEO is back at the beginning and dosnt know/remember who he is, which is ether pure genius, or it's going to really blow chunks! It's a Kenau movie, he dosnt make bad movies anymore, so I got hope still!

The first movies really cooked my noodle, the depth of it, and the levels of mind phuck were so subtle and yet so cool, I still get the willies some times!

I saw one and it was rented. Back east or out here.

Heck, I do not remember now!

I think that I saw a clip of another Matrix movie (Second?) OR maybe it was in the first one and like I said I CRS now! LOL

ONE big blur... sigh.

My old political buddy in Maine was going on and on about how I should see it and eventually I did.

I was not that impressed but I do KNOW how many people love that movie or movie series from what I have read over the years.

I do LIKE the actor as an actor.

I've seen the JW movies.
We saw the JW movies because people on this forum and other people talked about them.

If my memory is correct, when I joined up here or somewhere else (?) - I had seen NONE of them at the time but I could be wrong. We got the JW movies on sale at Walmart or Target @ $5. each or as a dirt cheap set.

We watched 2 or was it 3 of them total (?) several times.

We donated them to the library.

The actor is a good actor and I read that he is a NICE MAN in real life - OFF SCREEN in his personal life.

Hrrrm. My guess is there will be a woke social message, along with glorifying the P.R.C. if any Chinese money was used in this one...
