Welcome Aboard. Glad you found the forum.

This is the best place to hang out on the internet.

I know that you're not in the Oregon/ Washington area but we've found the best way to meet the community and learn where and how to use public lands responsibly is through grass roots involvement.

If there isn't a local group that advocates for responsible stewardship of public lands, check out Trash No Land.

That is an early "Monson" made 44. That is when Dan Wesson was located in an old brick former schoolhouse in that small town, pronounced MUNSUN. From the serial number, I would guess 1979, maybe 1980. The gun came out just after Dan passed away in 1978. They are extremely accurate and adaptable guns. They pretty much ruled the metallic silhouette game back in the 80s.
