I got the magazine pictured below thinking it would fit my high standard 22 pistol.
It does not fit. It is too short. It is about 4.5 inches long.
Can anyone identify what pistol this fits?
Two features: note that the pull down knob is on the left side of the mag.
note that the spring is not visible in the pull down area opening. There is
a coil spring running up the inside front of the mag.
Thanks for your help.

Reminds me a bit of the Colt Cadet or Beretta Neo magazines. Like Andy, I'm just guessing.
Just pulled out a Colt Cadet and a Beretta Neos (the Neos will fit in the Cadet but doesn't fit flush due to baseplate). Definitely not either one of those mags. They are both stainless and you can see through the mag (follower channel) unlike the mag in either photo above.

I've bought Neos mags to use with my Colt. You're wrong about the Neos mags not fitting flush. A buddy of mine was with me shooting the Colt and he was able to seat the Neo mag flush.:eek::eek::mad::mad::mad: He had to smack it really hard to do so, but he did get it flush.

Of course, I suppose I do have to concede that the pistol would not function with the mag seated flush. So, technically maybe you're not wrong. :p

Be careful who you let shoot your firearms folks. :(

I missed the part about being able to see through the mag, but was suspicious that the weld marks and pins didn't quite match up with the OP's mag.

Thanks to everyone who responded.
The mag is definitely a Browning Nomad / Challenger / Medalist magazine
I have a High Standard 103.
Very similar looking but doesn't work.
So, know any one who needs this magazine for the Browning?
I paid $35 for it and will sell it for the same amount or trade for a High Standard mag.
Thanks, Tom
