So I just bought a DDM4A1 Socom Block 2 upper stripped so looking for Bolt carrier group.

I'm trying to decide on the "BCG"
I've narrowed down to 2 :
- BCM FDE BCG
- Noveske BCG

But open to other options?

Not really interested in the Daniel Defense Bcg..

This is something that I really haven't found a huge difference I have a BCG that cost 89 dollars that I bought on line and I have a low mass BCG that cost 250 BUCKS and some others in the middle PRICE range .I haven't really notice any difference except the low mass but that's just the waight and the recoil but not much

I have a middle of the road BCG I I paid like 130 dollars for that has ran with no PROBLEMS I have had it for four years I don't know exactly how many rounds .fail zero BCG nickle boron M16 BCG FAIL ZERO

See price doesn't matter.. I'm totally happy with sending more for name and that 1% more quality :D

Well that's kinda like say I want DD LOWER because if the name over a Anderson lower DD LOWER 120 BUCKS ANDERSON LOWER 50 TO 70 BUCKS but there made at the same machine shop just tac on 50 or 60 BUCKS for the name
There different BCG OUT THERE BUT UNLESS YOUR RUNNING A FULL AUTO find the most exspesive one out there cut that price in half and buy two lol

Another words if you like the one that cost three hundred dollars just buy two of the ones that cost 150 BUCKS lol and build another gun HEHEE

Noveske & BCM Bcgs are $190

I stick with the higher end brands
- Colt
- Daniel Defense
- Noveske
- BCM

The cheaper costing lowers just don't make sense in my mindset.
I'd rather have 1 nice AR15 over having 2 budget AR15's

If I'm spending money I'd rather have something that gets me excited to build
"cool factor" :D

Most of the brands you listed have thier bolts made by a third party... ToolCraft. So get the same bolt... lifetime warranty for $80.
Toolcraft Black Nitrite 5.56/223 Bolt Carrier Group (AR15/M16)-MPI Tested
This. I buy mine from Arm or Ally, formerly Monmouth Reloading.

BTW, other than Black Nitride vs Milspec Phosphate, these are the BCG's the Pentagon buys for spares--while I'm not a slavish "Milspec Monkey", it does make a good Minimum Acceptable Standard.

BCM of you must have a cool name, but +1 for toolcraft. * not based on personal experience.

My only 2 BCGs are odin works and aimsurplus NIB. The Odin was out of spec, but they sent a replacement and it works 100%, very easy to clean. The aim surplus was a little tight, but I polished it up, and broke it in, and now it works 100%.

+1 for toolcraft.
That's what I'll buy for my next build, maybe. My current rifle has the psa full auto carrier. It works perfectly and I think i paid 80 for it at a gun show.
