MAX stabbing suspect is a white supremacist with a history of violence

Looks like he posted a fair amount of white supremacist material, though the "white nationalist" moniker seems a bit strange. Nationalism is the belief in a country independent of others. I believe that my country has the right to control its own borders and that my country is more important to me than other countries which makes me a nationalist. I am also Caucasian, so that makes me a white nationalist, but I sure as he77 am no NAZI.

When/if Trumpers get bashed for things they actually do, the rest of his supporters take their lumps. Nobody's perfect.
But when the media mentions that a violent perpetrator of a heinous act is a white supremacist, in this day and age the assumption fostered by many is that he's some kind of Alt-Right arch conservative.

And I have a problem with that, especially when there's plenty of evidence to the contrary. But the teller of the story didn't bother to investigate the true or underlying motive.

That's how we got into the mess we're in with the media, and the fact they consistently lie, or omit key info that would better explain the true nature of the situation.

Like some are doing, and no doubt will continue to try and do with this story.
Don't put up with it. EVER!
State the truth as you know it to be.
State the facts.
Cite your references.
And prevent the misinformation from taking hold.

Will people attack you for it? Call you names, or mock your assertions?
Probably, who cares? Facts trump all.

That's the only way this kind of stuff gets fixed.
Do battle, even if only in the verbal sense.

I was just confused by this statement.
I'm assuming now that you mean Bernie supporters need to "clean house"... which I suppose can be said for a lot of parties. Can't say I want that guy relating to me, so I get it.

The older I get the more sad and depressed it makes me to see what humans do to eash other.
People are killed and assaulted daily for absolutely no reason.
None.

I know the platform well. Been there many times. Daily in the past.
I was just at that intersection for work a couple days before that happened.

Last time I had to ride the train, I could actually feel my I.Q dropping with every mile, Thank GOD I was carrying! I swear in the 10 miles or so that I rode that sucker I saw at least 2 felonies per mile!!!

I used to live in Gresham, deep almost Sandy, and I worked in downtown and had a 2nd job across the street from the hollywood transit station.
I would get on the max at 6am in Gresham and wouldn't get back until 11pm

I saw some ish.
The homeless folks would pile on at night.
I always pretending like I was sleeping headphones in but not on so I could listen and people thought I couldn't hear.
Always had one hamd in my bag clenching at pistol.
Luckily in the year I did that almost daily I never had an incident I was involved in.
Saw a lot of portland weird though.
That's why I moved to Vancouver.

I feel sorry for the victims and their families, however exactly what did the victims accomplish? Bigoted talk as ugly as it can be, is not worth your life. If he was physically attacking innocent people than you could justify interjecting. Sad to see people step into the middle of words and lose their lives for it.
