Exactly. This is why knowing your ROE and situational parameters. I am not interested in restraining anyone or taking prisoners since that then becomes a completely different tactical situation and takes people out of the defense scenario.

People think you need to challenge people and allow them the opportunity to give themselves up to you. Great. What the hell do you do with them after that ? Who takes on that role?? Can you restrain them and secure the situation ?
