Well, new to me anyway. Circa 1995 and like new except for a couple of minute freckles. I love the feel of this pistol and have wanted one for a long time. The sights suck and thats the point of this post. Any suggestions without breaking the bank. BTW, I got it for $595. Thanks, Ken

I found some new HiViz sights on ebay for 20 bucks. Could be junk?

As long as you have the dovetail front sight you can do it yourself

I put Tru Dots on mine and they work great

Thanks for the link Andy. I fired it a little and so far it doesn't shoot worth a darn. It shot a horizontal string which is new to me. I wish it would quit raining so I could go to the range. Ken

Great score on a great looking classic Browning/FN Hi-power. I wouldn't mess w/ putting non-original sights on a nice collectable high polish blued pistol.

Removing the mag safety will help with the trigger feel, it's fairly easy to do and well worth the effort.
There are good sights available that fit in the factory dovetails. Check brownells and midway.

Sent mine to Novak (sent the slide only) and got some nice sights installed for around $150 ..... Including shipping... Check out the Novak sight as they do some fine work on BHP's also...
