Thought I would share an unusual hunt. The pointer dog and I were well into the annual post season depression after the bird seasons ended Jan 30th. But then the ODFW called to inform that I had drawn an emergency turkey hunt. Really? I was able to go on short notice and decided to make it a bit more challenging and take a blackpowder shotgun along. Well the stars and the turkeys linned up for a sucessful hunt. The shotgun is a Pedersolli 20 gauge percussion.
Sometimes you just get lucky.
