Muzzle Device Removal

Looks like it was pinned and the pin was dragged across the threads on the way off.
Can you see something that looks like a tiny puddle weld on the muzzle device ?

Just went and examined the break as thoroughly as my eyes would allow, but also with my phone camera at 5x. Nothing to indicate that it was pinned/welded, that I could see, but I will let you guys know what Savage says.
