I have one of those in black. I haven't had any trouble with it, but I heard that they are prone to break if you are rough on them. Any one else have experience with these?
 
Yep ... same questions. Are they forged or cast/machined? Can not quite tell from the pics. I notice their website says reinforcements in certain areas. Proprietary longer hammer/trigger pins. Assuming thicker meat in those areas. No big deal there. Pins are easy to fab. Also says not to anodize. No problem. That is why they invented Krylon spray paint. How many ounces does one save over aluminumimumm?

These might be super duper for that ultimate light weight low mileage back pack AR15 whatever build. :)

I think they weigh 5.8 OZ. A DPMS lower weighs 8.7 OZ.

Ounces are pounds when you are cutting weight.
