I've never done this type of hiking. I hunt. So hiking was never our reason. never made sense! It's a very challenging hike, and not for the faint of heart. Scary stuff.
6,500 foot climb.
12 miles round trip.
10 hours.
Started at 5am.

Congratulations. An old school chum signed the book in celebration of our 50 year HS reunion a few years back. I've tried to watch yootoob but 'Chicken Out Ridge' gives me the jiggies.

Climbing and Hunting are Two VERY Different Outdoor Sports but one(Climbing) can help out the other(Hunting) if used properly! Climbing during the Off Season can help keep you in shape for when you draw that High Country Tag! It will also help you to "Scout" New or additional Hunting Areas that might just be "Somewhere" along your route to the Mountains!

Do what works for you!
