You can just do it without the permit then if you feel that way.Isn't it great we have to have a compelling reason to exercise our constitutional right to be able to protect ourselves traveling? I feel so much safer this way.![]()

What amazes me is in most commonwealth countries like Australia, Canada, Britain and probably a bunch of others self defense is NOT a legitimate reason to own a firearm. Australia has even banned pepper spray. They don't want anyone defending themselves, only relying on the police. Only reasons allowed are sports competition (no training for self defense is allowed) or hunting.Isn't it great we have to have a compelling reason to exercise our constitutional right to be able to protect ourselves traveling? My "compelling reason" is to exercise my 2A Rights, that should cover it.Washington County requires a "compelling reason" such as work, family etc.
You understood my sarcasm, yeah most on the left dont want individuals having the right to self defense, particularly if its lethal to counter lethal threats. Ive noticed that most countries anti gun proponents use as a model for US gun control are that way yet at the same time they will tell you they support a persons right to self defense. Then they ban pepper spray. What amazes me is in most commonwealth countries like Australia, Canada, Britain and probably a bunch of others self defense is NOT a legitimate reason to own a firearm.
